Not that a sparkling wine isn't enough but, how about adding a little extra?
Pour your sparkling wine as the base.
Add 1/2 oz of orange liqueur
1 oz of vodka and stir
Garnish your glass with an orange slice
Drop a cherry in the glass
The result .... pure joy for the pallette
